Experienced Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) Lawyer
If you are going through a divorce and the division of a retirement fund or pension is at issue, federal law requires that your divorce paperwork include a document called a Qualified Domestic Relations Order, or QDRO. Drafting a successful QDRO requires a lawyer who knows all the arcane technical requirements. Many divorce attorneys will not themselves draft QDROs, but instead refer their clients to me.
